“Movimento di quartetto”, che Giacomo Susani ha scritto su nostra commissione, è stato eseguito per la prima volta il 13 aprile a Genova, presso Palazzo Reale. Ne abbiamo fatto una prima incisione al Teatro Barco di Padova, con il Quartetto Goldberg. È la prima di quattro commissioni legate al progetto Raccolta di Pietra e Sabbia.

 
On the 23rd of April this year we were among the gilded decorations and marble floors of Genova’s Palazzo Reale, rocked by the tinkling of the rain on thin windows. That day we had the pleasure to attend the first live performance of the «Movimento di quartetto» by Giacomo Susani. Here you’ll find a brief summary of those moments.
Movimento di quartetto is meant primarily to be played in the context of Raccolta di pietra e sabbia – our experimental ensemble project, about which you can find infos on our website – right before an extract from Verdi’s string quartet. It, therefore, felt natural then to ask Giacomo to imagine this commission of ours as an hommage to Verdi’s work.
